The atmosphere and service have really turned around since new management came in. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick bite and were very pleased with the customer service. Our orders were accurate and came out quickly. The lobby was well kept and clean. We love having a Wendy's in Castle Rock and will definitely be back!
There was a lady there in a blue shirt, no name tag. Her service was absolutely HORRIBLE. I felt like I was being yelled at through the drive through. When I got to the window she was fussed, her clothes were extremely dirty, she didn’t bother to greet with a smile, or have any kind of customer service other than “here’s your food” I politely asked for her name because she was not wearing a name tag. She refused so I have a description that she is blonde and I would assume a manager of some sort. I am a shift leader for my store and I would never EVER treat my customers this way. Don’t go to this Wendy’s. Although the food may be decent. It’s not worth it to come here if I feel yelled at after I leave. If I could I would rate this establishment 0/5. It USED to be a great fast food place and in my 20 years of being in this town and going to that store it’s gone downhill.
I ordered a Spicey chicken sandwich. It was dry and tasted like they just dumped a bottle of black pepper on it. Plus the drive through line took forever. I think I was in line about 15 minutes. They didn't like very busy. But to many cars we I the parking lot. There were only about 4 or five cars in the drive through. I won't be stopping at that I've Wendy's anymore. If you're in a hurry don't go there.
I understand being understaffed but today was ridiculous. I was picking up an order and had to sit in the drivethru as the dining room was closed. I waited for over 30 minutes and then the order wasn't even correct. Then was told by Someone who looked like a manager that I wasn't allowed to come in, through the glass door, wouldn't even bother to come talk to me. That I had to wait in that drive thru line again. All it takes is a little effort to make things right especially when my customers already had waited long over their promised delivery time.
This rating needs a negative 10 stars!!! This place should be shut down!!!!!!! It would be better than serving disgusting food and more. We waited for 15 min or more to pickup a doordash order and there wasn’t any line or anyone inside. It didn’t even look open. It was a simple order of just ckn nuggets and several drinks. The person at the drive up window DID NOT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH and we could even communicate with us therefore failed to complete the order correctly. The customer ended up missing an item on the order! I REFUSE TO PICKUP ANY DOORDASH ORDER OR EVER EAT ANYTHING FROM THIS AWFUL PLACE. THE LAST TIME WE ATE THERE THE FOOD WAS COLD, DRIED OUT BUN AND FOOD THAT YOU WOULDN’T WANT TO FEED YOUR DOG! STAY AWAY!!! RUN AWAY! This puts a horrible status on the Wendy’s name that used to make amazing burgers and awesome service. There are tons of places that have survived the changes since COVID. Where is management!!!!!
