The best Indian food I’ve ever had! No joke! Me and my family are all obsessed with this place. This was our first time coming to the new location and it did not disappoint. Everything you love about the original urban village, but with a new atmosphere and some of the best desserts I’ve ever had or seen. CANNOT MISS the coconut curry. You can pick your protein. The scallops are amazing, I got salmon this time and it was perfectly blackened in a way that really complimented the yellow coconut curry sauce. Also don’t skip the appetizers, we had the kale (like a tempura) and chicken tikka dumplings. The desserts were heaven. The strawberry mousse was layered with delicious light white vanilla cake and topped with chocolate truffles filled with strawberry. The chef here does not play around. The food is amazing. Worth the extra few bucks over your average Indian takeout. And great ambience and drinks for dine in. Go now!!!
Best Indian food in Denver, super authentic! The owner works here everyday to ensure the best food is served. We tried the chefs special and it was a great deal! See photos of all the food we’ve tried here!
Amazing food and experience. Went to Urban Village grill with my family today. For appetizers we tried their grill with all vegetable grill items. Marination was to the perfection and taste was superb. Dipping sauces are very unique and tasted great. We had a great family time. For main course we tried aloo gobi and veg korma. Both are excellent with great flavor, delicate balance of curry, spices and the taste of veggies. We will go again to try some of the chef specials. Overall excellent food, ambience and great experience. This is a unique restaurant to provide great experience and excellent food. Staff were highly professional, courteous and made our experience even better.
Went here on Saturday for lunch. Loved the ambiance. Clean and neat place. Was very happy to finally find a good Indian restaurant. We ordered dynamite chicken in appetiser which was delicious and perfect in taste.Next item was chicken Tangdi kabab with steamed vegetables which was fine. Then came the best dish we had “Not your Grandmas butter chicken” which is served with a side of plain rice. The chicken was moist and tender , full of flavours. We also ordered a village basket which consisted of three type of bread of our choice where we selected butter naan, garlic naan and onion naan, which complimented the curry perfectly. Last the Masala chai which was the perfect cup of tea. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely go again.
The staff was extremely nice. The place was very understaffed. For the price of each item the food was not good at all. The special coconut curry on the menu was a sludge like consistency and the butternut squash was not cubed but mushy. This was a terrible food experience. We waited forever and spent too much money. The food in the picture is $20?! Again the staff was nice. Otherwise I would respectfully give this one star. Not professional quality at all.
