I am sure this place is very busy during Broncos games on Sundays … The Shack is a huge sports bar with good food. I got the Philly steak with added jalapeños which was good… I had to eat it with a knife and fork because the bun was in 2 pieces and the sandwich was stuffed… not a problem what do ever. The meat was tender and flavorful with cheese and peppers. The two people I was with were not as impressed with what they got. One got a cranberry chicken salad, it looked good to me, but I wasn’t eating it. The other person got the pastrami Reuben which also looked very good… I guess you will have to try the place yourself. I Loved the Philly.

I've been going to this place for nearly as long as they've been open.
The staff was always top knotch!! They gave this area the best (and safest) place to come and enjoy a meal that was consistently good and a drink or two and watch a sports event!!!
I am very sad it is now closed permanently, but the owners have truly earned their retirement!!
God bless you all!!?

The Shack has been a regular hangout for our group for years! Countless holiday parties and other events hosted in the back room or on the patio… awesome food (OMG those wings - best in town!!), great chill atmosphere, and the entire staff is AMAZING! Everyone is so super friendly, remembers you, and they always go above and beyond. Love this place!!

Fun environment for watching sports. Terrible buffalo wings.
They are fine with you spending a long time at the table (a full 4 hours), even if you aren't drinking alcohol. Service was great and the environment was fun while watching the Colorado Avalanche in the Stanley Cup.
Unfortunately the buffalo wings were, frankly, terrible. They tasted old (as if they were on the verge of going bad) and weren't very crispy or hot. I got a "basket" that was $16.29 (including tax but not tip) and it had 6 uncut winglets in it.
Strange enough, this place used to have the very best food 20 years ago when I was a kid. I was disappointed that they went from the best wings I had ever tried to pretty much the worst.
I went for the game and not the wings though, so I'm giving 4 stars.

The shack provides classic neighborhood sports bar vibes in spades. I went for a quick lunch beer and wings after mountain biking. I really am excited to come back during football season.
The wings are some of the best I've had in Denver. I wish they were a little hotter, but the classic Frank's sauce and butter was perfectly done and cooked perfectly. The wings come whole and taste fresh not frozen; you can tell the quality. I think they use a little lemon pepper to season and it's the beez neez.
Staff are friendly and it appears like an actual family running it, not some wacky corporate family, but real people. I'll be back for sure!
