We didn’t have great expectations for The Airplane Restaurant, thinking that they would rely on drawing customers in with the airplane and serve low-quality and overpriced food.
We were pleasantly surprised that was NOT the case here.
We had nachos, a burger (one of our teens claimed this was her second favorite restaurant burger), and mozzarella sticks and all were good. Plenty of food for a family of 4 that included 2 hungry teens. Sweet potato fries were crispy, sweet, and delicious. The nachos were served with slices or fresh jalapeños.
Only complaint is the side of guacamole (offered with an up charge) is very small, with lots of tomato filler. Not really worth it.
Wait times can get long to sit on the plane. Even “the terminal” can get busy.
The walls are filled with memorabilia to keep anyone entertained and occupied during a wait. The hosts even offer a mini tour while seating your group, pointing out some of the highlights of the plane’s history.
Definitely recommend, especially for any aviation fans.

What a fun idea for a restaurant. We are up in the plane to get the full experience. The host and seated was a bit delayed. However, he took us through a lovely history and some stories on our way to be seated. The dishes were hearty and tasty. The fries were one of the best parts of the meal. Service was a bit slow, but thorough. A great experience to have at least once and would be a fun place to take kids. We went during the week without a reservation.

This is such a great place! We loved eating inside the plane and service was excellent as was the food. You can walk around and sit in the cockpit. The women's bathroom was not very clean but it was clean enough. The paper towel dispenser wasn't working. I love how the one wing of the plane goes into the other part of the restaurant where you can also eat. The upstairs area inside the plane is not handicap accessible if you are in a wheelchair but the rest of the restaurant is. There is also a bar area on the main level and a fireplace. There are great memorabilia everywhere you look. If you haven't been here, you should definitely go.

If you want a fun place to eat then check this out! You can be seated in an actual airplane! It’s like a museum in there, we had plenty to read and see while we waited to be seated. We weren’t too hungry but wanted to eat here. We got the potatoes skins and we loved them!! If you want to eat in the airplane, go in between lunch and dinner, otherwise, you’re gonna wait. Seemed like the restaurant was pretty empty since everyone waiting wanted in the plane.

Unique and cool experience! Airplane stuff EVERYWHERE! If you’re a fan of planes, this is your place to be. The fish and chips were good and the broccoli cheddar soup Witt the Philly Flyer was good also. Slightly overpriced but that’s because you’re paying for an experience. You literally are eating inside the heart of an old tanker aircraft! Military squadron patches and airplane models everywhere, walls are covered with plane memorabilia. Stuff to see everywhere, I’m not sure you’d be able to possibly see it all. Almost feels like a mini museum. It’s obvious this restaurant was a labor of love and as we left the owner talked to us for quite awhile. He clearly loves the place. Business is still struggling to come fully back since COVID so give it a try!
