I’m usually on the fence with fusion tacos but I thought this place did them really well. Every taco was delicious and stuffed; they do not skimp out on them. The fish was perfectly battered and fried, the shrimp taco was well-seasoned, and the special tacos were gochujang beef tacos when I went recently; the sauce was great and meat was incredibly tender. Fried chicken agave taco was good; just not the most impressive taco for the night. Great service and atmosphere; highly recommend and would return

I flew in town and the place I wanted to eat was closed permanently. I did a search and found Tacos Tequila Whiskey and decided to try. I want to first say, the service is great from the moment you walk in to the very end. The tacos are amazing and full of flavor. I come from a small to medium city and nothing compares. It is definitely a must try.

Tacos Tequila Whiskey, pinche failed in Phoenix, and is now failing Denver... This is not something I enjoy saying, as I have loved this place for so many years. I’ll be the first to admit, COVID killed many restaurants, and even brought great ones to their knee’s, but the crowds are back most places, but you’ll notice the crowds aren’t back here… The quantity here has just suffered, and the last few times I’ve been, it’s just not the same… I recently tried another restaurant, Fish-n-Beer, also owned by KTM Restaurant Group, LLC, (The company that owns Tacos Tequila Whiskey.) I got wildly sick from some muscles I ate there earlier that night. They refused ownership of the cause of my food poisoning, and happily took my $170.00 even after privately letting them know in an email the next day. Needless to say, with my recent battle with food poisoning at Fish-n-Beer, I wasn’t ready to give up on one of my favorite taco shops in Denver, just yet… Well, I am now! They served me completely raw on the inside coconut shrimp today. I wasn’t about to risk another night like my recent. I myself am a former restaurant worker, both front and back of house. I feel for everyone that works in a restaurant, as it’s very hard work. When the classiest of the classy, Red Lobster trained me to serve tables, they told me if I see a mean with one bite taken, or appealingly untouched, they taught me to ask the patron what they thought of their meal. The bartender just took the shrimp with the one bite taken out of it, and a napkin stuffed with what I wasn’t brave enough to eat. Tossed it right in a bus tub without a question. Not once was I asked how my food was, and I paid the full price for my meal. I hate to say goodbye to what was once such an amazing place to eat… but it’s time. Goodbye Pinche. Best of luck filling those seats again. I hope you can turn it around. Regards, Joel,

A staple restaurant for us in Denver. It’s consistently good service, drinks, and food. We love the happy hour and they always have a special taco on the menu which has never been anything but creative and delicious. Definitely suggest!

First timer at TTW and ordered the al pastor and pork belly tacos. Atmosphere was hip and fun, maybe a bit forced though. They serve beers in glasses that look like pints but are def smaller, maybe a 12 oz pour, so kinda deceiving. Pastor was decent but pork belly is worth skipping as was more rubbery than succulent. Have heard good things abt their other tacos though, feeling unsure abt a return visit.
