I went to Salsa Brava last night for a Yelp event with a bunch of friends. What a great time we had. The food and drinks were absolutely on point. The wait staff and everyone involved was top of the line with serving the food. I never felt rushed and never waited too long for anything. Great job to the team at Salsa Brava!

The food came by very fast. The pork, green Chile and salsa here were very tasty but the rice was slightly undercooked and it seemed like the refried beans were not as fresh as I was expecting. The house margaritas was not the best I have tasted but other than that I'm sure all those things were hiccups and I'll make another visit soon. Great service and taste overall
UPDATE: I have been to Salsa Brava over 6 times now. All of the food is great. Go on Tuesdays for 2$ tacos and after 7pm is happy hour where it's a dollar off your house margaritas and 5$ patron shots. Very dangerous 😳

I am on the road a lot nowadays, so a light and healthy, but filling lunch is a must for me. Salsa Brava perfectly fit the bill. I met another real estate agent in town to talk business; I’m glad he suggested Salsa Brava! Our server Tanner was very friendly and observant. Upon learning it was my first time at Salsa Brava, he walked me through the menu and highlighted a few of his personal favorites. I took him up one of his suggestion of the fiesta chicken salad and I have zero regrets!
All of the ingredients were vibrantly fresh - as it should be with fresh Mexican food. The cilantro vinaigrette was so refreshing and the peanut chipotle drizzle cut through the acidity of the vinaigrette with a savory and spicy splash! My heart was in heaven with the wonton crisps garnish. I was so excited to eat the salad that I forgot to take a picture. Oh well, that’s simply a reason to go back soon! Simply put, this dish and entire experience made my heart happy!

For Coloradan Mexican, it's not shabby! Salsas and food have flavor (could use a little more spice). The green salsa actually is really delicious, I would pour it on everything I owned if given the option. Several vegetarian options, with easy asks to remove cheese of necessary. Refried beans do have lard, but the black beans are a delicious replacement.
Main complaint is the guacamole was severely lacking. Would rather eat del taco guacamole (and save several dollars!).
Overall, not a bad location, a decent sit down mexican choice considering the area.

Went in with 3 other adults on Friday. Called ahead and we were seated immediately. Hagan was our server. Awesome service. He was really good and timing was great. Our food was good. I had carne asada $17.99 and my gf had the chicken “sour cream sauce!” First flavor and everything was good. Should be served with more than 1 tortilla. Also. I have never heard of or seen a sour cream poblano sauce that looks and tastes exactly the same as the green chili! Did you add sour cream to green chili and call it a poblano sour cream sauce?! It’s their new sauce?! Sauce was horrible. Not good and just as hot and looks the same as their green chili. Will be going back usually when our friends go there. 1 maybe 2 times a year.Avocado fries are delicious though. $72 with tip for 2 people with 1 appetizer 1 drink each and entrees. Typical for Colorado Springs.
