From the moment you walk in, it’s a total vibe. Loved the light fixtures and art. It’s an intimate environment and does have a patio. As for the food the chicken and shrimp wontons, duck lo mein and pork belly were full with flavor and so good I couldn’t decide which dish I liked best! The cocktails (Big Papa) were strong and fruity just the way I like it. Would definitely recommend as a great date spot and I can’t wait to go back!

Wontons and pork spareribs were outstanding! We were a group of 3 and they made sure we had an even amount of pieces with every dish we ordered which was very thoughtful. They have a nice patio for warm summer days. We will definitely be back!

The food here is incredible. I only had the chicken wings for dinner, but they were incredibly crispy, and the flavor was unlike any I’ve had before. Many places attempt to meld unique flavors in unexpected ways, especially with Asian fusion cuisine, but they all seem to lean on the sweet side, and rarely shine among competitors. The black bean garlic oil combined with the tomatillo ginger salsa offered a furiously intense guiding light in this landscape filled with sub par attempts. The coconut cheese cake only served to further this incredible experience. Paired with pandan whipped cream, it was the perfect end to a meal. My only complaint, and a moot one at that, is that the cheesecake was too large for one person, but that’s the idea; you’re usually either sharing a dessert with a date, or, so depressed you’ll eat an entire cheesecake if it’s offered to you. I was in neither of these situations so I opted to take the rest home. This is an experience that would cost so much more in a spot downtown and should not be missed.

Got the wontons and the eggplant and both were great, especially whatever sauce the wontons were in. Good cocktails too!

My daughter turned me onto Q House located in the Bluebird District in Denver. She had been here before and wanted to share it with her parents so our first dinner with her after moving home to Denver was here. We made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. The restaurant seating in the winter months is somewhat limited, but in the warmer months, they can open up big garage doors and combine the patio with the dining room. The staff was very welcoming and kicked off the service right away when we arrived. We got a couple of drinks and placed our order for food. The pork and shrimp wontons in chile oil made a great starting point. The flavors were delicious and the heat of the chile oil was just enough to bring a little heat to the bit. These were classic dumplings. The duck lo mein is a must-try. The soft lo mein noodles are paired with tender perfectly roasted duck to add an elevated take to a classic Chinese Noodle Dish. I was very impressed with this dish and thought it was prepared very well. I was also very impressed with the preparation of the shrimp fried rice. They prepare it allowing the flavors of the shrimp, rice, and other ingredients to be the heroes for the dish instead of dousing it in soy sauce to hide anything. I really enjoyed the dish and there was a generous number of shrimp with the dish so sharing it with others was easy to make sure everyone got some shrimp. All of these items were pretty amazing but the Sweet and Sour Pork Spare Ribs are amazing. They are plated in a way that just makes them look special. Then you grab one and taste the sweet and sour flavor of the sauce and you bite into the crispy outer layer of the rib. Then you pull the meat off the bone and find out how tender and perfectly cooked the rib is. The meat comes right off the bone, without falling off in your hands. These are amazing and worth trying. There is a lot of food here, so it is best to share with others at your table. We also tried the Bok Choy which was very good and got my daughter to eat Bok Choy which is a pretty good accomplishment. If you have not been to QHouse then you should add it to your list. If you have been here you know how great the food is. I am excited to follow the restaurant, try more of its dishes, and see what the chef comes up with next.
