Stopped in for a quick dinner . This is my first time at a Newks and I really enjoyed it. Bread on my sandwhich was soft, arugula in sandwhich was fresh, tomato soup was yummy. Husband has the cheese steak sandwhich. It was not the typical cheese steak prep but the taste was very good. Staff was pleasant and service was quick. Will visit again.

Stopped here this evening to grab a quick bite at 7:30pm while waiting for my son to finish an event nearby. Planned to dine in but was told by the woman who took my order that it had to be take out. There were a couple other families still eating in the dining room when I got my food so it was clearly just so they could try and complete close up procedures early. Food was decent. Soup tasted like it was microwaved though. Disappointed about the dining experience as I was looking forward to eating in and not eating in my car in the parking lot.

I use to love this place. It's been a while since I have been there. Today I wanted to treat myself so I left work drove 20 minutes to get there and sadly I must report they have changed. It's not just that it was an off day, it's totally not the same. The crust is different the cheese is different and my most favorite part (the bar where you can get roasted garlic and peppers and toppings is totally gone. I understand if it's a cleanliness thing but it's not you can't even ask for the toppings. It's sad to see a place you use to love cut corners and change things that use to be amazing to just mediocre. I will not be returning. ☹️

My coworkers and I wanted to throw our fellow coworker a casual baby shower. I suggested Newks for it. Tonight was the shower and Scott, the manager, and all of his staff were amazing. The restaurant was so clean and the food came out fast and was delicious. Also Google said that the restaurant closed at 9 when they actually closed at 8. Scott let us stay longer and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

This place is so great. Love the soups, salads, all of it. Never disappointed.
