Went as a party of three on a Tuesday lunch hour to this nice little restaurant on East Colfax that serves pretty good Mexican fare like street tacos and burritos. Tuesday happened to be Taco Tuesdays, where the usually-$15 street taco platter (three tacos, rice and beans) were only $9. I had the Korean pork belly tacos, the chicken and carnita tacos on a soft corn tortilla. The tacos are not huge like in some other places, but they were very tasty and hit the spot. Parking is on the street (Colfax or nearby streets). Plenty of tables and seats - we didn't have to wait when we visited. Didn't have any alcoholic drinks, but the bar looks like a well-stocked one with lots of variety. Recommended definitely for the food!

The pork tacos delicious. They had pineapple pieces and a pineapple spicey sauce. The gravy for the burritos seemed homemade. Service was good not a lot of people there.

Mezcal was a treat for sure. The food was amazing but the atmosphere was less than amazing. The place was super loud and the music was over energetic to me.
We ordered the mezcal burrito, street tacos, and some Nachos. Again, the food was extremely good! The server was pretty nice and honest. I didn't feel like he was pretending so I liked that. You should be able to be yourself.
I would recommend the food anytime, but expect a loud environment. Next time, I will just order to-go.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem. My daughter found it through a Google search as it was a halfway point from where we were. The parking is not very good, but we did find 2 spots, after that, everything was great. Mathew greeted us upon entering and we were seated immediately. The chips and salsa were sooo good. We tried the salsa flight with three different salsas. They were all delicious. The guacamole was very tasty as well. The pineapple coconut margaritas are full of flavor. The combination plates are big, the food was awesome. All three of us were not able to even finish our plates. Everything tasted amazing. The service was top notch. I will definitely be going back to Mezcal.

The location is great, the food okay, the drinks tasty. This place has had, by my understanding (which I don't know for certain), many different owners and/or chefs and something is never quite above in flavor. It's good, but not great IMO. Good necessity in the area for tacos and such with some other options near by that may have more unique and extended flavors.
