It’s a nice quaint local Mexican restaurant. The food is authentic and very reasonably priced. There is quite a selection of different traditional dishes. We had the burrito and gordita dishes, and they were very juicy. The hot salsa is absolutely amazing and fresh
There is a lot of indoor dining space.
I recommend this place if you want authentic Mexican food. It is not in the best neighborhood, but it is definitely worth the experience. We are coming back again!

Sometimes good is great and sometimes is not. Been there at least 20 times.
Service sometimes is good and sometimes bad, depends who is on the counter.
I give 3 stars for the inconsistent service and food. Overall is a good place to eat some Mexican gorditas.

The Hamburger meat on my burrito was a little burnt and stuck to the pan it looked/tasted like. Overall, it was good but not the best as my husband had raved about. I might be back to see if it was just that day or not.

The gorditas were perfectly made. They had the right amount of crisp, freshness and flavor. I chose to get mine filled with pork in green chili and carne asada. The rice and beans were ok, but I would skip them the next time. The place is definitely a hole in the wall and feels a little cramped so I would recommend ordering to go. When I'm back in Denver I will stop by again.

Really nice place the "torta de milanesa" was great, mexican style (I actually felt I was eating one in Mexico City). After the torta, expectations were really high and the "gordita de chicharron" was not that good. Nice mexican menu. I will Recommend it, and definitely will come back to get a torta de milanesa
