We had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch at the Great Divide. There was a bit of a wait but it was mother's day so it was not outrageous given the day.
Once seated and orders placed, the food came out quickly.
Everything was delicious and our server was excellent. Very personable and helpful.
I had the green chili and it was good. I only wish it was a bit warmer however, the person that recommended it to me likes his soups like warm. My daughter had the French onion soup that was also excellent.
We will have to return to try more of the menu

Best French Onion soup I had so far in any restaurant of this scale, but the worst Nacho I had anywhere. The tuna tar tar was decent, if you get the fresh Guacamole (i had once before and it was seriously no bueno - this time it was nice). Great selection of beers and hard drinks. Pretty mellow and cozy, service from the bar was usually good and friendly but servers are hit or miss. 🤷🏻♂️My friends and I still like coming.

Went early for lunch and sat near the outside overlooking the bike path. Great time to go as we beat the rush. We had the Prime Dip and The Guacamole Burger. Both really good. Everything was hot. The garlic park fries were a little crispy but hot as well. The prices were a little high, but overall good lunch.

We came in the middle of a weekend afternoon, about 330 before the evening rush. Perfect timing. Seated right away.
Flight of beer: fantastic.
Kids menu: beware, the cheeseburger was actually two, big enough for both kids. They could have split.
Food: generally, very good. Lots of veggie options. Downside: a lot of salt.
Service: It started off very good, and attentive. Except they never removed a plate from the table. It kept getting more and more crowded. I had to start stacking it to get it out of our way. Yes, we could have asked them to remove plates but really, we shouldn't have to give basic lessons.

Wow, this is one remarkable restaurant in old downtown Castle Rock which highly impressed me to the upmost. This establishment is very energetic, the ambiance is great, the music is awesome, the atmosphere is inviting and soothing, and this place is great to visit with family and friends. I highly encourage others to come visit this great family friendly location.
