So sad about the service here! The pizza and wings are good, but the pizza took close to 30 minutes after we ordered to arrive at the table, and the wings didn't come for another 5 minutes after the pizza. We were in an otherwise empty restaurant at the time, so it seemed more likely that our order was forgotten. The server seemed generally annoyed by us but was more attentive after it was obvious the food was delayed. We weren't offered any kid menus (not sure they have them) and one of the bathrooms wasn't stocked. I'm not sure we would come back to give this place another try even though it seems like it had potential. We'll likely try a place down the street instead
Honestly, Granelli’s has been my absolute favorite pizza place since moving to the area 13 years ago. I’ve been a faithful customer through and through, but lately it’s been very hit or miss. I’m pretty forgiving because let’s face it, things are tough everywhere, but this last time I got take out will be the “last time”. I ordered 2 large pizza’s and after sitting in the lobby for 50 minutes, I got my order and went home only to find the pizza’s were very burned. I called to speak to the manager and offered to bring the pizza back, hoping they’d just replace them, but the best they could offer me was 15% off my next order. I am sorry to say that service like that does not warrant me returning. So sad, I loved their pizza.
Spend each Sunday in Castle Rock and wanted to try Granelli's after seeing it a few weeks ago. We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. They walked us through the menu and we tried a mix of appetizers and a couple of small pizzas. The fried mushrooms and meatballs are a good value. The wings were delicious. All did a nice job of getting us ready for the pizzas. We tried a pepperoni...simple classic, and the Rock in a deep crust. They came out great! The crusts we're delicious, ample amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. The service as we ate continued to be attentive. Great experience! We will be back!
Very good pizza and spaghetti but we've been there now four times and all four times the good has taken an hour or more. With no remorse by the staff. Overall, the place is excellent food-wise, which ultimately is the measurement. Tonight, we sat down at 5:04pm, with two other tables filled, and ordered within five minutes. Food arrived at 6:15. We had to take it to go. It's such a shame because it's very very good food! But this is the fourth time something like this occurred, and there's always an excuse. I do not expect a concession either, but I find it a bit offensive that a party of two is expected to wait 1 hour for two small pizzas and spaghetti, ending up having to ask for it to go, and still paying full service prices. To be fair, maybe they were having a bad day or something, but 100% of our 4 visits since 2018 have resulted in this exact feeling; food is great, but a bad experience.
Love this place! Usually we go weekly on Fridays but do to how busy it was downtown on Friday we decided to go on Sunday. We have had the same waiter a few times, phenomenal and the friendliest service even though he was super busy! The pizza is always amazing along with the wings! Keep it up!
