Understated in almost every way, this nook of a restaurant serves up a very limited menu of Chinese standards, wine and beer.
The downstairs serves Chinese street food inspired dishes while the upstairs is more formal. The space is tiny so be prepared to sit close to the table next to you and limited real estate on your table.
The seasoning of the food is subdued, bordering on under seasoned. We ordered pan fried pork dumplings that were simply a delicately seasoned ground pork on a dumpling skin... So green onions, no additional ingredients.
We visited in the winter so I am not sure if they are paying homage to the cold season devoid of fresh veg, but my shrimp fried rice had a few scant pieces of cabbage and no other veggies. The flavor was gentle and mild.
My girlfriend had the stir fried duck noodles. This was the best dish we had. Again a surprisingly scant amount of veg in the mix, but a nice balanced flavor.
Overall we enjoyed it and look forward to returning, perhaps try the soups, but we both left asking the question " is our palate just used to over spiced American style foods and this is normal amount of flavor?"
I will be back to test through the changing menu to see

Simple menu and FANTASTIC DUMPLINGS. everything else was good, yes, the noodles and fried rice but OMG THE DUMPLINGS. We got an order of pork dumplings - pan fried is the way to go. And they. Were. Outstanding. Truly the best I’ve had in my life so far. We ordered another plate of them before leaving at ate them all. Come here for the dumplings. (And the other food too, of course)
Stay for the dumplings.
Get the dumplings.
Dumplings.
That is all I have to say.

If I could write this place a 15 out of 10 I would easily! What a breath of fresh air! Such class in their decor & approach. Absolutely in love w/their simple menu allowing for amazing wine pairings. Upon walking in you feel the Modern China in decor + once presented with their food you enter the world of diverse street food that melts in your mouth. It is an experience that should be savored slowly methodically and patiently. A great restaurant is one in which their limited offerings make a strong statement + Fortune Wok to Table does just that! I am so happy to have found this place + will be back for the full pairing experience.

Nice neighborhood place to get steamed or fried dumplings. Personally would go with the fried, I thought the steamed were just OK, the dough didn't quite hold up to the steaming. They also have a few noodles dishes that are good. Great service very friendly. Will go again.

The Shanghai Noodle was pretty good, especially the beef. Very tender cut and cooked.
The Vegetables dumpling was pretty tasty too. Less a star because for a plate of Noodle it cost like $20!
