If you’re looking for craft street tacos, Dos Santos is the place to be. They have a variety of unique taco combinations that you might not find anywhere else. I come here frequently and enjoy my experience every time. The atmosphere is fun, vibrant, and great for groups of people. With this being said, the food isn’t nearly the same if you order takeout, so I recommend dining in-person if you want the proper Dos Santos experience.

My experience at Dos Santos was phenomenal. The flavors I tasted while eating their tacos is something I’ll never forget! I got the shrimp, tinga chicken, and fish tacos, and I can’t choose which one is my favorite because they were all so delicious. Each taco was paired with crunchy vegetables and different combinations of sauces drizzled on top. I’m not a local to Denver but if I was, I would come here everyday. The margaritas were also good but the tacos are the real stars from this restaurant.

Food was great. Service sucked. We came in for lunch and they were not busy at all. The host was very sweet and sat us right away. Our server dropped off chips then ignored us for 25 mins..he was just standing there doing literally nothing and I had to ask the host twice if we could get our order in. Since he kept ignoring us, she took our order herself. When he finally came over after we were finished eating everything, he asked how it was and I replied with: everything was delicious but don't make the women around you do your work for you. He came back with the check and said: here you go, or do you want me to do it for you since you're women? I said, missed the point, this isn't about stood there doing absolutely nothing and made the host do your job for you. End quote. I have zero tolerance for this type of BS. Not returning.

Making reservations for my group (speaking to the general manager and an event coordinator), as well as the food, was amazing. I would give the food 5 stars. However, the waitress taking our orders had a very poor attitude and told us that they did not accept split checks. 13 people multiplied by drinks and food not being able to be split up should have been communicated when making reservations. She told me that her system "would not allow" split checks and that the owners instruct them to make one person pay for everyone for all customers that come in, but she provided split checks for the table next to us. Another waitress told me that it was how they guarantee tips for themselves, and I found that extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We would have tipped a lot more given the opportunity to pay individually, but the waitress' bad attitude mixed with this rule that we got stuck with soured the evening for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. Many people were missing their food for quite awhile after others were served. I tipped 20% for food taste alone and as a principle that I have for myself as a customer, but I would not recommend coming here unless you can afford to pay for everyone in your group, depending on whether or not they want to 'guarantee' tips for themselves. When I went up to her to pay at her system, she asked me if it was all going on one card. I asked if I had a choice and she said I did only if I wanted to split our 13 guests equally between up to 4 credit cards. That is not professional business practice, and I have never heard of a company forcing that on their customers. They have a point-of-sale system similar to what I have used at a previous place of employment (it was right behind our table), so I know that it is capable of splitting checks. The food was phenomenal and we really appreciated the birthday dessert for the birthday boy. I don't know if we will come back based on integrity of the business. I am happy to update my review if the owners reach out.

Dos is one of my favorite spots to go out for food and drinks in Denver. It has a dope neighborhood vibe and the prices are super chill! Trish, Emilia, and Alexandra all show my friends and I so much love! This is a place I recommend to all my friends and my family that comes in from out of town. Anyone and everyone digs this place. They have the best outdoor patio in Uptown!
